Traveling Patients

If you're a patient traveling from out-of-state for a bod:evolve procedure, we want you to know that we are committed to making your stay in Denver as comfortable as possible. To this end, we've prepared this page to discuss what is needed for an out-of-state consultation, as well as travel arrangements such as accommodation and transportation.

The Consultation

The consultation starts with three important steps:

Please fill out a new patient registration form: Dr. Broadway's Form | Dr. Millard's Form
Send the forms in to our office, through e-mail or regular mail. Along with your forms, please send in photos of your areas of concern
Schedule a phone consultation with one of our doctors

The phone consultation will usually take around 45 minutes. Our doctors want to gain a better understanding of the problem areas you have outlined, as well as a better understanding of you as a patient. Your doctor will review your medical history and answer whatever questions you may have. Typically, he will be able to give you his medical recommendation on what might be done to address your areas of concern.

After the phone consult, a patient coordinator will put together a fee quote, based on what you and the doctor have agreed upon. You can confirm your decision to schedule surgery on the phone, or come to Colorado for an in-office consultation.

We can do a lot of the pre-operative work before the surgery from your home state. The day before the surgery, we would see you at our Colorado office, for a pre-operative appointment.

Your post-operative stay in Colorado will vary based on the procedure being performed.

How to Take Your Photographs

Please take several photos, similar to the ones shown below, either nude or with underwear or a bathing suit on. Digital photos can be e-mailed to info@bodevolve.com

If you do not have someone else who can take the picture for you, we recommend taking pictures of your areas of concern in the mirror.

Transportation

Getting to and fro in an unfamiliar city can be difficult, and you deserve a stress-free trip. Here are our recommendations for transportation options.

For transportation from Denver International Airport (DIA), taxi companies include:

- A taxi trip should cost approximately $70.00, not including gratuity

Transportation from Denver International Airport, or another arrival point, to the bod:evolve center.
Transportation back to the airport, or other destination, after medical treatment
Assistance after treatment including overnight stay at (WHOSE HOME?) if needed
Direct contact with the medical staff should any questions or problems arise
Prescription pick-up if needed

Individually Priced Services

These include:

Transportation:

$35 per hour, for at least one hour, plus $.50 per mile.
Patient Care:

Pick up after surgery, with overnight stay at my house. All meals are included. This includes transportation to the bod:evolve center for the following post-op appointment.

$200 per day

Care of patient in my home after surgery, without transportation. All meals are included.

$175 per day

Caregiver Options

If you are traveling to Denver alone, you will require some sort of care for at least 24 hours after your surgery. Many of our out of state patients have used these services and have always been very happy.
