This Today Show segment tells the story of two of Dr. Millard's patients. John Sodini is a fourty-six year old who exercised regularly, but who found it harder to and harder to keep from gaining weight. John felt that he was losing the diet-exercise battle, despite his best efforts.

Twenty-eight year old Valerie Warren was tired of waking up every morning and seeing the same stubborn belly fat she'd carried with her for much of her life. Her goal was to be able to put on a new pair of jeans without sucking in her stomach.
